编者按：奥兰多当地时间2015年11月7日，美国心脏协会（AHA）2015科学年会以数场复苏科学研讨会及职业生涯早期教育等专题拉开帷幕。作为全球心血管领域的顶级盛会之一，有来自世界各地的专家学者慕名而至、共襄于此。会前，AHA主席、美国哈佛医学院布莱根妇女医院Mark Creager教授与本届AHA科学委员会共同主席美国布朗大学阿尔坡特医学院Frank Sellke教授和美国杜克临床研究所Eric Peterson教授共同谈论了AHA 2015年会将要呈现的一些重要内容。
Mark Creager: I am Mark Creager， president of the American Heart Association. And joining me today is Frank Sellke and Eric Peterson， the chair and co-chair of the scientific session’s program committee. Today we would like to give you a preview of the Scientific Sessions 2015 which will take place in Orlando. Frank， this is going to be an exciting meeting， tell me about some of the highlights.
Mark Creager：我是Mark Creager，AHA主席。和我坐在一起的是Frank Sellke和Eric Peterson，他们分别是科学委员会的主席和共同主席。今天，我们将共同对即将在奥兰多召开的2015科学年会进行预览。Frank，这将是一个令人兴奋的会议，和我说说一些亮点吧。
Frank Sellke: I think this is going to be one of the best meeting ever. We redesigned the program， there have three different tracts: basic science， clinical science and population science， within the categories have numerous groups very well organized and going to be very novel approach to the meeting. We have outstanding series of plenary o scientific lectures， highlighted by Paul Dudley White lectures given by Dr. Keith Fox， of course the presidential address given by Dr. Mark Creager dealing with vascular disease. We have 24 joint sessions with international organizations， which is one big highlights of this meeting. The meeting has something for everybody about cardiovascular surgery， interventional cardiologists， nursing， epidemiologists， so I think there is something for everyone.

Mark Creager: It sounds terrific. Eric? There will be a lot of interesting trials to be presented?
Mark Creager：这听起来非常棒。Eric，会议是不是将有大量令人感兴趣的试验展示？
Eric Peterson: I am amazingly excited. We have more presentations for late-breaking clinical trials than ever before. We think it goanna be an exciting a range of topics cover doing those. In addition， we update from prior trials’ most exciting findings from the clinical registries. And in addition that we have frontier new science， new exciting program that we give highlighted captured very short lectures with topics covering both prophylactic diseases and EP. And finally， even for the idea how to translate the idea into practice， we have cutting edge e-technology as well as mobile technology going to affect usual clinical care. It is going to be very exciting.
Eric Peterson：我非常兴奋，我们将要展示的最新临床试验数量空前多，涉及了很多令人兴奋的话题。另外，我们对既往的注册研究中令人激动的发现进行了更新。而且，我们有非常前沿的新内容，有新的话题以简短讲座的形式展示，涵盖预防性疾病及流行病学。最后，在如何将理论转化到临床实践方面，我们将有先进的电子技术以及移动技术如何影响日常临床护理相关内容。这将会非常令人激动。
Mark Creager: As Frank mentioned， my presidential address is going to focus on vascular diseases. Vascular diseases are so problematic in society， and it is really contribute to important burdens in terms of mobility and mortality. So I am going to discuss not only the epidemiology of vascular diseases， but really what steps we need take to reduce that burden， what steps in terms of science， what steps in terms of patients and physicians’ awareness. And what quality issue is important， we can tackle this very important component of cardiovascular diseases. And indeed， there’s going to be something for everyone there.
Mark Creager：正如Frank所讲，我的主席发言将聚焦血管疾病。血管疾病是当今社会中非常严重的问题，造成了严峻负担如发病率和死亡率的增加。因此，我不仅会讨论血管疾病的流行病学，还将探讨需采取些措施降低这种负担、哪种科学方法以及如何提高患者和医生的知晓率。另外，质量问题非常重要，我们可以管理心血管疾病中这一非常重要的组分。事实上，本次会议上有适合所有人的话题。
Frank Sellke: We have simulation programs for artificial heart， we have as Eric mentioned frontier science series to deal with atrial fibrillation treatment， we have some of the best clinical trials ever presented in dealing with in systolic and diastolic heart failure， interventional cardiology. Vary therapies for surgeries， effort to reduce renal failure during cardiopulmonary bypass. So again， there’s going to be outstanding programs something for everyone. And additionally， we are going to have usual outstanding basic science， I don’t think that anybody would deny the fact that American Heart Association have the best basic science in any cardiovascular meeting of the world. And this is going to continue.
Frank Sellke：我们有关于人工心脏的仿真内容，也有如Eric所讲的一系列最前沿的关于房颤治疗的专题，处理收缩性及舒张性心衰以及介入心脏病学的最好临床试验展示，各种手术治疗方法，探讨降低心肺旁路手术期间肾功能衰竭的方法等。因此，有很多优秀讲题。另外，我们还有传统的优秀基础科学，我认为没人会否认在世界上所有的心血管会议中，AHA有最好的基础科学呈现。当然，今年会继续如此。
Mark Creager: Wow. We have different tracts divided that really appeal the particular different interests for the attendees?
Mark Creager：我们的日程有很多种类，能够做到真正吸引并满足参会者的不同需求？
Eric Peterson: We try to focus no matter what you are， are basic science researcher， Clinician interested in EP， and outcome researcher， you will be able to find the place to get the most meeting all in one area， but in addition， if you walk crossover to see something outside from normal daily life， those opportunities would also exist. But the list in a fashion of a lot of sciences allowed to be delivered in an ordered and simple fashion.
Eric Peterson：我们试图关注无论你是谁，基础科学研究者、流行病学者还是临床结局研究者，你将会在会议的同一区域发现最多的内容。但另外，如果你想要看到和日程生活不同的内容，那些机会也是存在的。所有的日程将以非常有序和简单的形式呈现。
Frank Sellke: In addition， we try to increase the potential for networking， many more poster sessions， moderated poster sessions. This has very well received so we decided to continue that. Outstanding basic and clinical lectures will be given by international renowned experts. So I look forward to this really outstanding meeting. So your presidential address will be again the high point of the meeting.
